Rennline's vehicle-specific Alcantara shift boot is a direct replacement for the worn-out factory boot on 986 Boxster and 996 911 models with manual transmission. Made from high quality Alcantara and CNC cut for a superior OEM+ fit and finish.

Important: There are two different style shift boots on the 996/986. Choose "Early" or "Late" based on your vehicle. Refer to the images below.

Manual transmission only. Not compatible with Tiptronic-equipped vehicles.

• Manual transmission only. Does not fit Tiptronic models.
• May not work with some aftermarket shift knobs. If using with the Rennline shift knob or another aftermarket knob, choose the "Early" option.
• Two shift boot styles exist for the 996/986. Verify your existing boot style (Early vs Late) before ordering.

Q: How do I know if I have the Early or Late style shift boot?

A: Compare your existing boot to the two reference images in the Product Details tab. The Early and Late styles have a different shape where the boot meets the console. If in doubt, contact Rennline support.

Q: Will this work with an aftermarket shift knob?

A: It may not fit all aftermarket knobs. If you are using a Rennline shift knob or another aftermarket knob, select the "Early" option from the dropdown.

Q: What material is this made from?

A: High quality Alcantara, CNC cut for precise fitment.
