Installation Difficulty
Replace your damaged factory rear swaybar mounting brackets with these new improved units. Early, pre 78, factory mounts will quickly fail under competition conditions. Even with factory swaybars, they will eventually fail with only street use. The later 78-89 factory brackets are much stronger, but are still known to commonly fail with competition use and stiffer swaybars. These 4130 crome moly castings are virtually indestructible and are an excellent alternative to trying to reinforce or repair the existing brackets.
Note: On 72-77 cars, the bollt pattern for the factory bracket is different, so aftermarket sway bars are required. on 78-89 cars, these will work with factory or aftermarket sway bars. Welding required for installation. Sold as a pair, 1 pair required per car.
