Rennline's powder-coated jack pad allows for the easy lifting of the rear of your 981 or 718 Cayman or Boxster. Lift with confidence using our jack pad, which features a red vulcanized rubber pad that helps prevent the car from slipping off the jack.

This jack pad mounts to the underside of the transmission skid plate utilizing your factory hardware and is a quick five-minute install. If you change your car's wheels frequently, this is an excellent item for you!

Why It Fits Both Generations

The 981 and 718 share the same rear subframe architecture and transmission skid plate (PN 981-331-261-XX). The jack pad bolts directly to the factory holes on the underside of the transmission cover, which are identical across both generations.

GT4 / Spyder / GT4 RS Compatibility -- TBD

• Mounts to the rear center jack point on the transmission skid plate.
• Provides a secure, slip-resistant lifting surface for floor jacks.
• GT4 / Spyder owners: These models have extended underbody aero (flat floor panels, rear diffuser) that may cover or obstruct the rear center jack point. The jack pad may still physically mount, but accessibility for jacking is unconfirmed. Contact us before ordering.
• Does NOT fit 987 Boxster/Cayman (2005-2012) -- different rear subframe design.

FAQ

Q: Will this fit my 718 GTS 4.0?

A: Yes. The GTS 4.0 uses the same transmission skid plate as other 718 models and does not have the extended flat floor aero found on GT4/Spyder variants.

Q: I have a GT4 / Spyder. Will this work?

A: The jack pad physically mounts to the same transmission skid plate, but GT4 and Spyder models have additional underbody aero panels (flat floor, rear diffuser) that may cover the rear center jack point. You may need to remove these panels to access the jack pad for lifting. We are currently verifying accessibility -- contact us for the latest info.

Q: Do I need to drill any holes to install this?

A: No. The jack pad mounts to existing factory holes on the transmission skid plate. Installation is completely reversible.

Q: Can I use this with a QuickJack or 2-post lift?

A: This jack pad is designed for use with floor jacks at the rear center lifting point. For 2-post lifts or QuickJacks, use the factory side jack points with our T04 Low Profile Jack Pads.
