991/981/718 LED Side Marker Lights

Relive was a delight to work with!

On a 2025 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 these are not an exact fit replacement but I was able to get them to work. The plastic on these flares out beyond the fender/bumper while the stock ones are more flush. Additionally, the metal clips that are supposed to hold them in place closest to the wheel well were under too much tension and kept coming off (pulling out of their socket). I drilled a small hole and secured each clip with a small fastener and that did the trick. Once installed they are secure and the lights work well.

By design, these units bulge out a bit from the bodywork when compared to OEM lights. However, this really improves their visibility when views from slightly astern, e.g. when changing lanes on the freeway. Very functional. At first I thought the "sequential" signaling was a bit trite, but, then again, this functionality garners more attention from others as I signal my intentions. These units look good, install very easily (under five minutes per side), and work very well.

My 2025 Gentian Blue Boxster looks awesome! I've never been a fan of the orange marker lights, though -- Too much contrast, and they don't match the smoked theme going on with the tail lights. These smoked marker lights from Rennline fixed it! Installation is chimp simple; all you need is to remove the two torx screws in the wheel well, and you have access to the stock light. Gently pull it out, plug in the new one, replace the torx screws. It doesn't get any easier than this. The result is a much more subtle appearance, and I love the way they sync up with the front turn signals.
