A: If you have a MagSafe or Qi-compatible phone and want wireless charging, choose the wireless induction charger option. If you just need a secure mount without charging, the standard magnet option is more affordable.

Q: What if my phone does not have MagSafe?

A: Use the included adhesive-backed steel ring on the back of your phone or case. Additional rings are available separately as PM70_R.

Q: Can I use this with a third-party ball mount accessory?

A: Yes. The included 17mm aluminum ball is compatible with any accessory that uses the same diameter ball.

The phone mount may be the perfect solution for my Cayman 987. I like that it mount below the dash and Somehow does not interfere with any features like the ac vents or glovebox operation. It’s also stable with no vibration while driving. The magnet attachment is very strong and not allow my phone to fall off accidentally. I chose the charge version which keeps my phone charged using MagSafe. It is nice that the holder can be removed it desired leaving no sign it was there.

I have my iPhone in a case that has a magnetic back and this phone mount works great. Would highly recommend

Don’t waste your money

With normal driving, road bums and vibration this holder does NOT stay in place. The screw loosens and you can’t see your device. It does last in place 1/2 hour, terrible

987.2 Mount with Wireless Charging

Other mounts are available on Amazon, but none with this high of a quality. I am happy that I bought it, and the wireless charging was a no-brainer, easy to route the wire behind the trim panel, and connect it to the footwell 12V port. Highly recommend this product.
