Q: Which option should I choose - standard magnet or wireless charger?

A: If you have a MagSafe or Qi-compatible phone and want wireless charging, choose the wireless induction charger option. If you just need a secure mount without charging, the standard magnet option is more affordable.

Q: What if my phone does not have MagSafe?

A: Use the included adhesive-backed steel ring on the back of your phone or case. Additional rings are available separately as PM70_R.

Q: Can I use this with a third-party ball mount accessory?

A: Yes. The included 17mm aluminum ball is compatible with any accessory that uses the same diameter ball.

    If anyone is interested, I was able to 3D print a perfect sized shim that allows the mount to sit far enough forward to clear the lock washer and screw (ie not touch the leather). Dimensions are 39.5mm x 11.75mm x 4.5mm thick. Just have the 3D printer do a full fill rectangle. I used some double sided tape to adhere it to the back of the mount, and it sits perfectly solid. Basically it uses the far back section of the screw hole which is an oval.

    Good solution. I needed to make some shims though, because the screw head was too close to the leather, especially if you use the lock washer. I ditched it. Also the “ball” is no longer a ball, it has flat sides. Not sure if this affects mobility left to right. Overall though it’s a good solution. Looks well integrated. But not quite plug and play.
