much easier to install than the official instructions

It's solid, looks OEM+, and it was easy to install, remove the two torx screws in the top of the glove box, use a plastic trim tool slightly thicker than the mount to create a gap between the two trim panels above and below the mounting spot, remove the advesive protection, place in position, remove the pry tool, and you're done. Absolutely no need for all the panel removal in the official instructions.

Quickest install ever!

I'm not automotively mechanically inclined in the least. so when I read that the install required some disassembly of the dashboard, I was a bit reticent. I attempted to follow the video instructions and couldn't get past the first step in removal of the first trim piece for the life of me. Then I noticed that there was some flex in the dashboard piece and I thought maybe I could just simply remove the tape on the adhesive, flex the dashboard trim up and slide it in. I gave it a shot and it worked! It slid right in, and as soon as I let go of the trim, it pressed down on the adaptor. I even slid a shim in there to make sure it press down as firmly as possible. Less the original futzing around, the install took merely 30 seconds,

I just received the mount today and pre-watched the install video several times and it only took me less than 30 minutes to install. The only change is going to be the dash trim, you have to grab the trim from the right side to clear the corner and use the left hand to lift up and pull the trim towards you. Removing the trim literally took the most time. The mount worked out perfectly and would recommend it to anyone looking for the best phone mount option.
